Hello Billy, Jhon, and other board members and other members of NOFARS that may be able to answer the questions or provide information.
Thank you, Billy, for your response. I have the copy very similar to what you sent me; John was passing out outdated copies at the October 2024 meeting. On March 10th ,2025 John stated that there was an amendment voted on and approved by the members January 9th, 2024, (I have several witnesses of John making this statement) on Article 7 which would any recent amendments voted on at the January 7th, 2025. I have asked for current information, and nobody has provided it to me to this date. It looks like John and others just make their own rules with no regards to current North Florida Amateur Radio Society (NOFARS) Constitution and bylaws and hopes that no one fact check them.

I was told that I need to get my dates correct on Certified layer I sent out to all the North Florida Amateur Radio Society board officials. Let’s check them together. It was March the 10th I met with John Reynolds at the Dunkin Donuts off Cassatt Avenue. John made the statement of the bylaws have been changed concerning dues and that the dues have been raised for the club. I made a statement that I must have missed that letter or mailing because I did not receive notice in the mail of that amendment to be voted on at any meeting. Which is a requirement according to North Florida Amateur Radio Society bylaws. John quickly made this statement that Club no longer must send out letters by mail because that bylaw was voted on and changed the previous January. Louis KM4 YDT made this statement that that was the time frame that he had an address changed so he could not confirm that he received that letter Louis stated he did not receive the letter either but that could have been because the year before he had an address change because of moving. The that would put the date of the meeting that the bylaws were changed for Amendment 7 Back on January 9th 24 And January the 7th 2025 From my understanding the club voted to change the club’s membership dues. So can anyone correct my dates or what John stated. Can somebody show me where I have these dates wrong. Let me ask it a different way Let the North Florida Amateur Radio Society prove to us by showing us a copy of the letters that was mailed out to each and every member of the proposed vote and at what meeting was the amendment on Article 7 voted or Show me the bank register with the expenditures covering the cost of the mailing and the dates when this mailing happened. This should be easy to do. Confirming any dates that I may have wrong and proving that the North Florida Amateur Radio Society follow the bylaws when amending Amendment 7. This will also verify the dates of the meeting. Or produce the video or minutes of the meeting that the vote took place amending article number 7 and the meeting before when a proposed amendment was proposed.

John answer to my Question #14: Is there a recording of the meetings available? I know the meetings are online thanks to Brandy and Rajesh. I would think there would be a recording somewhere available. John’s answer was No. 14. No recordings of meetings are known to exist. The lastNorth Florida Amateur Radio Society meeting on March 13th 2025 I was having trouble hearing so I logged into the online meeting link online to see if I could hear better since they had a mic up front for the people attending the online meeting. To my surprise the first notice that I received was a notice letting me know that this meeting was being recorded, and I had to click on the button agreeing to the conditions.

I would like to have access to these recordings. Send me a link to the location of the video will be great, simple, and easy and no cost, thanks.

As a reminder of those that might not know what article #7 is:
    ARTICLE SEVEN: AMENDMENTS
Section 1: The constitution or by-law!; maybe. amended by a 2/3rdsvote of Society members present at a meeting provided all members have been notified by mail of the intent to amend at said meeting. Proposals or amendments shall be submitted at regular meeting and may not be voted upon until the next regular meeting.

There seems to be some people saying that the reason I am asking these questions is because I am upset that I did not get elected for an office at the November 2024 meeting. The truth be told I did the election thing just for fun, nothing else, ask the person who nominated me. Like Chris comment on his QRZ page “After some shenanigons at a NOFARS voting meeting, I was nominated by WA4B and floor closed for nominations in a rapid fashion by W4IJJ, and a quick vote, I am now secretary for NOFARS. All good fun, and I am enjoying it, thanks guys for the position, and the laughs.” It looks like others was having fun also. I have been asking questions for some time now. For instance, I and others have been looking for any evidence of NOFARS annual report filings here in the state of Florida and we have not been able to find any records other than one dated in 1974. NOFARS dose operate within the state of Florida so this is a requirement. I have questioned the so called “repeater fund” account at a previous meeting. And I have asked numerous other questions long before the last November elections. So no I am not upset that I did not get elected for a position on the NOFARS board and that is not the reason for these questions.

I will tell everyone why I am asking these questions. I sense FRAUD has been committed. I started this originally in hopes the officers of the club would realize some wrongdoing and admit it and correct it. So far there has been no admittance of anything done wrong rather than I am the person doing the wrong things. So, to try to protect the club and keep them on the right track it seems like the current President and board members are sticking together and will take the club down what looks like a bad legal road. Laundering funds through a nonprofit corporation checking account for personal gain and to not raise red flags with the IRS is probably not legal. Telling a group of paying members that you are a nonprofit organization when you are not could be considered FRAUD. "The Solicitation of Contributions Act requires anyone who solicits donations in or from Florida to register with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) and to renew annually. This applies to charitable organizations, sponsors, professional solicitors, and professional fundraising consultants. The NOFARS organization is not registered to solicit donations. NOFARS has not filed any annual reports since 1974 which is required for anyone doing business in Florida. The board members are voting to give themselves money out of the organization checking account. The board are changing our bylaws without following our own organization bylaws. The board members are having private board meetings without notifying the members of the meetings. Also, corporation assets such as the organization domain name, and ownership, it looks like the organization may be using a domain name that is not owned by the NOFARS organization again. It is owned by Wild Wild West? I can keep going on here, but this is getting long, so back to business.

I have an old question that I asked in the past (2023) and would like to follow up on. Here is the answer that I got to the question. It was legal because there was four(4) board members that voted for it and the board does not have to ask the members to give away or spend money.
What monthly meeting did Jerry make the announcement that NOFARS was giving the repeater owners or the “repeater fund” $1000? Would you send me a copy of the minutes of the meeting or link to the video?
My question now is who voted for and against this $1000 gift. Was why did this happen and what was the $1000 for?
I thought it would be a conflict of interest for board members to be voting to give themselves money out of the NOFARS account without asking the members, remember that some of the board members are the repeater owners and they were taking $1000 out of the NOFARS account and giving it to the repeater fund. Jerry (the treasurer at the time)stood up at a club meeting and made this announcement.
My follow up question is: What date was this done? Was this an actual check that was written to someone, if so, who was it written to. Or was it just written on the “repeater fund ledger”?

John on March 13th 2025 you sent out a email and made this statement “Somehow, you have to get your head around the fact that repeater monies did not come from our general fund with the exception of the 8.6k that the membership body voted for. It was a "donation" to the repeater function to cover ONLY the cost of the Heliax installation, and that the check was not given to any of the repeater crew, but was written and delivered directly to the contractor.”
John, I have a question on this, help me get my head around this please, I am confused as are others. You state the club voted and approved 8.6k but the check written to MCA was for $486x.xx dollars.
My question is this, are you saying that the only money that the club paid towards the hardline project was this bill for $486x.xx to MCE for ONLY the cost of the helix installation and there was no other check or checks written from the NOFARS account that would have bought, reimbursed or otherwise left the account that went to the hardline project in any way? Remember, It was a "donation" to the repeater function to cover ONLY the cost of the Heliax installation
The club approved 8.6. but only donated $486x.xx and then the club received three checks one for $500 another foe $501 and yes another for $502 that was to offset the MCA bill which would bring the donation for the total cost of the helix installation down to around $3,357. Am I getting my head around this now? If not explain what I am missing.

I would like to get a copy of the MCA bill / invoice and a picture of the spools of helix sitting in the repeater cage and pictures of the cabinets owned by the repeater group which bear the Inscription "Friends of NOFARS." and copies of the three checks $500, $501, $502,, please black out the account number. You may email me this information, If there is a cost in getting this to me let me know so I can get it paid.

John, I would like to get a copy of the email from Jerry stating that NOFARS would reimburse Steve wa4b for the roll of hardline, feedline, helix that he purchased, if I remember correctly, it had some yellow highlight on the copy you showed me. I would also like to get a copy of the pictured of the spool of said material in the back of the dark grey SUV that you showed me. You can just email this information to me to save any cost. If there is a cost involved let me know what the cost is, thanks.

Who has voting rights within the North Florida Amateur Radio Society board? President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Trustee, activities director, and who else? I am guessing here that is why I am asking so that I know the correct answer.

Who owns the domain nofarsjax.org? From what I see the Registrar is Wild West Domains, and the Organization the is registered to is Domains By Proxy, LLC. and the domain was created on 10/1/2024 and Tell me this is wrong and NOFARS owns the domain name.

Billy n4uf has stated he paid NOFARS treasury the regular rate for three life memberships on or around 3/15/23. It may be $100 or $100 times 3,I do not really know hence the reason for asking.
I would like to see the records of that transaction, again you can email me this information to save cost. If there is any cost in getting this to me let me know what it is so I can get it paid. Thanks.

I have not been getting any notices of any the North Florida Amateur Radio Society board meetings. The North Florida Amateur Radio Society does have board meetings I am assuming because there is not much business talked about at the club meetings. I would like for whomever oversees sending out the notices of board meetings to make sure that I om on the list, thank you. We all know under Florida statues any nonprofit organizations operating within the state must notify all members of board meetings days in advance and the notice shall have an agenda of the meeting topics and time and location so that the members my attend if they want to. In other words, organizations are not allowed to have private board meetings unless an attorney is present, and the board is talking about legal matters with the attorney.

I am still waiting for the answers to my last questions. As a reminder I have listed them below. I have broaden the recipients of this email in hopes of finding someone that might have some answers.
#1. Will some clear this up and verify who owns the hardline in the Wells Fargo building that the club paid $4,86x.xx to have install?
#2. Who has the right to the space in the old Wells Fargo building where the repeater equipment is located?
#3. Dose the NOFARS club owns the 420 ft of 1/2” Helix now on a spool located in the old Wells Fargo building?
John quoted “ I verified there were memberships donated to Lewis, his wife and son. The memberships were given in consideration of the gift of 420 ft of 1/2” helix”. I thought that Billy paid
NOFARS for these three lifetime memberships and that he may now has a lien against some repeater equipment around this.
This indicates that the gift was to NOFARS
#4.Dose this gift of 420 ft of 1/2” helix now have a lien against it?
#5. There were 3 checks, $500, $501, and $502 deposited into the NOFARS treasure that was to offset the MCA bill. Can we get varication that these deposits did not get listed on the so called
“repeater fund” ledger. I believe if these deposits were posted on the so called “repeater fund” then that should be corrected. This correction would bring the so called “repeater fund” into
a negative balance and require thar the repeater owners make a deposit to NOFARS.

As a reminder to you John, you asked me to ask you these questions here rather than at a club meeting. That is why I am asking here instead of a club meeting. If I need to ask some business questions at a club meeting because I receive no answers where you ask me to ask, then I will be willing and forced to do so. I remember you saying that you will not put up with chaos at your meetings. I cannot agree more with you on that but business talk at a meeting should not be chaos. John, you stated that you would not allow any recordings of in person meetings so I suggest email as the format for getting the business done, I will have to decline any in person meetings unless we have witnesses at said meetings . A club meeting would be a good place to meet and discuss these matters.

Feel free to forward this to anyone that might be able to answer these questions if you do not know all the answers, thanks,

Thanks, and again I hope for some answers soon,

    Hello Daniel

Your request for NOFARS Constitution rcvd via postal mail.

Though I have dumped most of my NOFARS files when I left office on 12/31/24, attached is what I have from 2011.

Your guess is as good as mine on the January 7th changes. I have not been at a meeting or received any correspondence from NOFARS relating to the constitution since early October.

I know that they announced an intent to make changes at the January 2024 meeting and planned a board meeting but Sleepy John kept putting it off. Finally had a meeting at an Italian restaurant on Normandy Blvd late last summer and proposed a dues increase to either 10 or 15 dollars/year. But that is the last that I heard.

Whether any changes occurred, I can't say. I think you have been at meetings since I quit going, so you may know more than I do.

I can't vouch for the accuracy of the 2011 copy that I am sending but perhaps it will provide you with a starting point.

    73,

    Billy, N4UF

Here is the copy of the certified letter that I sent out to the North Florida Amateur Radio Society (NOFARS) club officials asking for the current bylaws and constitution.
